Retromancer

You are the Retromancer. Time has taken its toll, for the one closest to you has become corrupted and torments the land, simply known as the Lich.

It is your responsibility to save this world through your powers of reversing the effects of time and the damage the Lich has done. Perhaps they can still be saved -- returned to a moment in time before evil overtook them...

Loading Time

Loading can take 20+ seconds after hitting Play. 

Embrace your inner monk and meditate on how long its taking to pass the time. And maybe contemplate the state of accessible and good internet in your region.

Gamepads/Controllers

If on browser, press a button on the controller to allow it to be recognized. Not all gamepads are supported, but if you really want, you can edit the gamepad.yaml file to provide your custom mappings. This can be done either by cloning the repo or creating `assets/gamepad.yaml` next to your executable and filling it a config similar to this file. Use this browser program to figure out your axes and buttons.

Co-op/Networked

Co-op play can be done locally if you have one or more gamepads. It can be done networked, however this is best suited to LAN play. If you wish to play across the net, you must use a non-browser version and you must open ports and all that jazz.

GPT

Due to the varying quality of responses from GPT when relying on precisely formatted text, this feature may not work on every attempt. If the Locale flag on the top right displays "GPT" then it is active. The status is also shown within the "GPT Options" section from the main menu which can be used to regenerate the text again.

Additionally provided is a web version lacking GPT support due to internet upload speeds being slow -- it is the exact version released before the deadline. It is the file named such and can be downloaded and run with an http server.

p.s., if using GPT version, check out options and feed it something fun for style like "a combative witch" or "a wise sage"!

p.s.s, we create an initial generation using a set style if you click "Yes", but if you want to directly provide your own style without waiting for that initial one to load, you can click "No", then visit the "GPT Options" and set the style there!

Other

Be mindful of attack patterns and use your abilities accordingly! Also, there are two endings. :)
